Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with clinical leads and end users across Metro North Health to deliver the Digital Metro North Strategy 2018-32. The strategy aims to ultimately deliver an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North by 2032. Over the coming years, significant capital works are being undertaken, including hospital construction and refurbishment and the implementation of the ieMR Advanced solution across all Metro North facilities. Achieving the aims of the strategy requires a dedicated team with the knowledge, determination, and skills to deliver quality results.

In this role you will:

• Lead and manage the operational delivery of the Technical Assurance function for Metro North Health to ensure that Metro North Health's technology environment meets technology standards, policies and architectural positions, is based on industry best practice, meets Metro North Health service levels and is cost effective for the digital solutions at Metro North Health.
• Provide knowledge management transfer of and development of technology architecture including roadmaps standards, policies and positions on technology components.

Key knowledge and experience

The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Extensive and thorough knowledge of technology platforms, infrastructure and networking architecture and design, creating enterprise architecture standards, solution architecture and risk management.
• Extensive experience performing detailed technology and solution assurance of solution designs, to provide design feedback on technology standards, risk assessments and strategic reporting on Digital Operation impacts of project implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and promote ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / change / release / configuration management.
• Proven general understanding and high-level technical knowledge in some of the following technology domains, to provide technical direction, standardisation, professional advice and support of enterprise infrastructure in a large customer focus organisation.
• Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to influence, communicate and establish a productive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to an ever-changing technology landscape and quickly learn any new and emerging technologies and knowledge.
