About you:

In your new role you will…

  • Demonstrate understanding of building asset and equipment lifecycle management principles and processes, inclusive of QH owned and leased buildings and assets.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate, consult and negotiate with all levels of staff, professional consultants, government departments, contractors and members of the public.
  • Proven success at senior level in developing, maintaining and implementing asset management frameworks, compliance frameworks, policies and guidelines and engineering maintenance services with an extensive and varied building asset portfolio.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction and day to day management of the BEMS department. The role represents the single point of accountability for achieving all service delivery outcomes expected of the department to ensure that it contributes to the achievement of the CHHHS vision.

About your role:

  • Develop and implement annual service delivery plans including the CHHHS Annual Maintenance Plan, Strategic Maintenance Plan, Backlog Maintenance Remediation Plan, Water Quality Risk Management Plan and specialist engineering input into the CHHHS Total Asset Management Plan.
  • Develop and implement annual BEMS emergency response procedures and continuity of essential services plans.
  • Develop and maintain BEMS service delivery policy, procedures, instructions and all relevant contractor orientation documentation and work permits in accordance with legislation and regulatory requirements.
