 Tell me more...The Practice Manager is responsible for supporting the Primary Health Care Accreditation Project to ensure the delivery of quality clinical and non-clinical care, across eligible Northern and Southern Primary Health Care Centres.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing information systems providing reports and information in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and achieving stated.
  • Ensures compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, protocols, legislation and guidlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills in the delivery of a high quality, culturally competent services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people, preferably in a health environment.

Requirements for the role:

  • This position may require the incumbent to operate a ‘C' Class Drivers Licence. An appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.
  • Travel across the TCHHS may be a requirement of this position in commercial and/or light aircraft and 4WD vehicles.
  • Pre-employment screening, including criminal history and discipline history checks, will be undertaken on persons recommended for employment. Roles providing health, counselling and support services mainly to children will require a blue card, unless otherwise exempt.
