About the role 
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be at the forefront of contemporary procurement practices, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will provide construction-related procurement support, assisting senior procurement staff in various activities, engaging consultants, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. The role is responsible for meticulously documenting all procurement processes to ensure transparency and accountability. You will also contribute to the development of procurement systems and policies and stay updated on industry trends. Your efforts will contribute to a professional and ethical work environment, fostering growth and continuous improvement. Fixed-term Temporary & Permanent opportunites available. 

The successful person

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:  
•    Strong organisational and time management skills to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality outcomes. 
•    Recent experience in procurement, especially in the realm of construction-related projects is highly desirable. 
•    Strong understanding of contemporary procurement practices. 
•    Excellent communication skills.
•    Readiness to contribute to a dynamic team, exhibit a customer-centric approach, and align with departmental objectives.
