About the role

  • Support the release of information process and the authorised Right to Information and Information Privacy Primary Decision Maker for the North West Hospital and Health Service. 
  • Identify relevant information, process applications and complete the requests for clinical information received by the organisation from government departments, health care providers, courts, law firms, insurance companies and members of the public in accordance with relevant legislation and policy and within the role's delegated authority.

The role requires:

  • A current knowledge, or the demonstrated ability to quickly acquire a basic understanding, of relevant legislative framework including the Right to Information and Information Privacy Acts.
  • Advanced computer skills (experience with HBCIS, The Viewer, or ieMR would be highly favourable) with the ability to learn systems and retain information in a busy and complex environment.
  • The ability to accurately review documents, identify inconsistencies and action any issues appropriately.
  • Organisational and communication skills.

Permanent full-time

  •     Salary range between $74,722 to $83,097 p.a. (AO3)
  •     Annual recreational leave p.a. with 17.5% loading
  •     12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
