Job Description

Our highly skilled multidisciplinary team require an experienced Occupational Therapist based in South West Victoria. The successful candidate will focus onsupporting our clients living in Warrnambool and nearby locations such as Torquay.

We have the capacity to provide a full-time or part-time position for the right person who will benefit from our extensive experience in supporting our team to bethriving clinicians who love what they do.

About the role

  • Managing a caseload and providing evidence-based therapeutic supports in a timely manner
  • Assessing clients’ emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
  • Providing support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities
  • Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and to promote independence

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and their support networks to make a real and lasting difference
  • Strive forcontinuous improvement of our practices and outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent and regular contact with all stakeholders
  • Current driver licence and own reliable vehicle
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified Occupational Therapist
  • Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
