Due to expansion, this organisation is seeking a General Practitioners (FT/PT).
We are an accredited Aboriginal Medical Service located in Mareeba, Far North Queensland, delivering holistic primary health care. We utilise PracSoft and Medical Director.
 
General Practitioners are supported by nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, allied health and specialist outreach clinics. Our facilities include treatment rooms for minor procedures, tests and immunisations.
 
The positions vacant work between Monday to Friday and are located in Mareeba and Kuranda, situated on the Tablelands. Mareeba is the gateway to Cape York and offers access to a diverse landscape including The Great Barrier Reef, world heritage rainforests, crater lakes, expansive savannahs and wetlands.
Position Description:
This is a unique opportunity to expand your medical knowledge, skill base, and cultural knowledge. As the successful General Practitioner, you will manage both acute and chronic conditions within a multidisciplinary team approach. You will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package including a base salary of $276K + Superannuation, Salary Packaging options and WIP incentive (MM4) up to $18K p.a, 5 weeks Annual Leave, 12 days Personal Leave + 15 days Study Leave per annum. Qualifications & Experience:
The successful candidates will hold a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery or equivalent, will hold a fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM, and be APHRA registered.

Ayr Medical Group is a purpose built, 9 room medical practice situated a 1hr drive north to Townsville and 2 hr drive south to Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays . Due to increased patient demand you will have an automatic start up client base. General Practitioners’s in their initial 12 months can take home $100k until increasing their qualifications.Each GP has reception staff, nursing staff and other FRACGP Doctors all available to support you on a daily basis.
