Pharmacy Manager

Thomas Talent Network, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department and providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients. This role requires strong leadership and management skills to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily activities of the pharmacy department, including dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe and efficient workflow
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality of pharmacy services
  • Manage and mentor pharmacy staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes
  • Monitor and evaluate pharmacy performance metrics, implementing strategies for continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and manage pharmaceutical purchasing
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints, ensuring exceptional customer service
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
Requirements
Requirements:
  • Valid Pharmacist license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Manager or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, including inventory management, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in pharmacy software systems and technology
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed
