An exciting opportunity exists for a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member, of the Eating Disorder Service (EDS), deliver high level of discipline specific clinical services and leadership across mental health work units, to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health (SCHHS).

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Deliver independent high level clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
  • Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
  • Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced practitioners and students as delegated.
  • Adhere to relevant expectations outlined in the SCHHS and Allied Health Governance Framework documents and Business Rules to ensure that best patient outcomes are achieved in a transparent, ethical and accountable manner.

Remuneration value up to $12 731 p.m., comprising salary between $4769.60 - $5132.40 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (temporary position available from May -  3 November 2024).
