An exciting opportunity exists for a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member, deliver high level Social Work clinical services and leadership within Women's & Children's Services (WCS), to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health (SCHHS).

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Deliver independent high-level Social Work clinical practice in the field of developmental paediatrics with infrequent need for direct supervision, including involvement in direct assessment of children who present with moderate to severe developmental delay.
  • Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence, including completion of intake and key worker duties for cases allocated to you.
  • Undertake clinical governance activities, such as the development of clinical practices and guidelines that support the continuum of care.
  • Provide clinical advice and education to professional and operational teams, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding service delivery, utilising high level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Remuneration value up to $12 731 p.m., comprising salary between $4769.60 - $5132.40 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (temporary position available for up to 12 months).
