About the Role 
• Provide strategic level management, applying well-developed clinical knowledge to challenge existing protocols and advocating authoritatively for a large team of Physiotherapists operating across multiple sites and multiple clinical specialties within the Bayside Health Services.
• Accountable for all aspects of operational management of the Physiotherapy and Podiatry Departments, including performance appraisal and other general people management issues across multiple facilities/specialties and divisions across the service.
• Accountable for the clinical governance of physiotherapy clinical services through the application of high-level clinical knowledge, expertise and problem solving skills to ensure alignment with health service imperatives and professional standards.  The position also coordinates and/or provides professional support/supervision to physiotherapy pre-entry students and mentoring to multidisciplinary team members. 
• Provide authoritative counsel to Health Service Executive and other stakeholders to advise and inform strategic level management processes across both the physiotherapy and podiatry workforce across the health service/state to ensure effective cooperation within and across work units to enhance service delivery, quality outcomes and/or patient services.
