The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) has an opportunity for a Locum Pediatrician to join the Department of Pediatrics at the Campbell River General Hospital in the beautiful oceanfront city of Campbell River.The Campbell River General Hospital has 100 beds, serves a referral population of over 300,000 and enjoys an exceptionally collegial atmosphere amongst family physicians and specialist colleagues. Hospital based specialists include: ENT, internal medicine, radiology, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, Anesthesiologist, GP anesthesiologists, obstetricians/ gynecologists, pediatrics and pathology as well as 24 hr RT support. Campbell River has an average of 400 births per year and a Level I nursery (36 weeks or more).
