This opportunity offers you the chance to work with a team of physicians, nurse practitioner, social worker, and dietician in a newly constructed (built in 2020) collaborative practice in the heart of the Town of Port Hawkesbury. Depending on your interests, there is opportunity to work closely with Strait Richmond Hospital (SRH) by covering emergency room shifts or inpatients through the Community Hospital Inpatient Program (CHIP), which allows for a nice work-life balance.This region serves thehealth care needs of the residents of communities in Richmond County and the southern portion of Inverness County. Located in Evanston, SRH is approximately 80 kilometers from St. Martha’s Regional Hospital (one of the regional level referral centres for the population). The facility has 15 medicine beds and five restorative care beds that provides inpatient, outpatient, and satellite care.
