Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant in Forensic CYMHS is a registered nurse who is accountable at an advanced practice level for the provision of specialist mental health nursing expertise and leadership within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence based mental health services to young people who are at risk of or who are having contact with judicial services. Travel (including overnight) may be required as the service area encompasses south of Rockhampton to the border with NSW and west to the borders with Northern Territory and South Australia. This position will cover the catchment of Cherbourg, Murgon and Kingaroy.
