Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch psychiatric nursing care to patients in the Cumbria community.
  • Conduct assessments, develop personalised care plans, and deliver evidence-based treatments.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Administer medications, monitor their efficacy, and educate patients and their families.
  • Offer support, counselling, and crisis intervention to individuals facing mental health challenges.

Requirements:

  • Valid nursing qualification and registration as a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse.
  • Demonstrable experience in community mental health nursing.
  • Stellar communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a knack for prioritisation.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
