With a commitment to delivering exceptional, world-class and person-centric disability services in WA, we have experienced rapid growth and are now seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in a Full-Time capacity.

Job Summary: You will work autonomously and flexibly to ensure a high level of quality care delivery for our participants across multiple homes in WA.

Tasks & Responsibilities: As a dedicated Registered Nurse at Essential Nursing and Disability Services, your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Participant Assessments: Working closely with our Senior Nurse, registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to conduct participant assessments and providing comprehensive nursing care.
  • Clinical Lead in welcoming new participants to our care: Organising and gaining valuable handover from other health organizations, for participants transitioning to our care, ensuring that our organisation is ready to meet their clinical needs.
  • Care Team Management: Training and managing the performance of the care team to ensure quality support.
  • Documentation: Developing and maintaining accurate documentation of participant progress and records. Critical to this, is Support plans and Nursing assessments.
  • Skill Development: Promoting positive behaviours, facilitating learning experiences, and skill development for other support staff.
  • Compliance: Ensuring full compliance with industry requirements within the care delivery team.
  • Team Building: Active participation in team building activities to foster a cohesive and supportive environment.

Qualifications & Experience: To qualify for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum 12 Months Experience: A minimum of 12 months of paid experience in a Registered Nurse role.
  • First Aid and CPR Certification: Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • NDIS Worker Screening: A current NDISWS Clearance to ensure compliance and safety. We can also assist obtain this if selected to the role.
  • Driver's License and Vehicle: A valid West Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccinations to ensure the health and safety of our participants and staff.
  • AHPRA Registration & Professional Indemnity Insurance: Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance for practicing as a Registered Nurse.
  • Reference Checks: Two relevant, professional, and industry-related reference checks.
