Care Coordinator - Enrolled Nurse (EN) Location - Charters Towers Office

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Coordinator - Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our team on a Part-Time basis in Charters Towers. As an EN in this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

This position is flexible with times and days to be discussed with suitable applicants. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and assigning shifts to care staff while ensuring clients' needs are fulfilled. You will be responsible for the coordination of Government Funded Home Care Packages (HCP). 

Location:  This position will be based in Charters Towers; there will be occasional requirements to travel and provide services to our clients in Charters Towers/or Townsville Office.

About you

  • Minimum 1+years of experience in Aged Care or Community Nursing, including knowledge and understanding of Home Care Packages (preferred)
  • Experience in wound and catheter care
  • Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Qualifications
  • Mandatory requirement - AHPRA Registration
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence with Comprehensive Car Insurance on Private Vehicle
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate)
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in Aged Care Leadership or Management role is desired
  • Sound understanding of the principles of My Aged Care, Aged Care Reforms and Consumer Directed Care
  • Experience in wound and catheter care
  • Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach
  • Aptitude for conquering challenges and learning new ideas
  • Highly organised, excellent time management
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Intermediate skills with technology, including smartphones, tablets and laptops
