A1 Dental is looking for a STELLAR Oral Health Therapist! 

You will be our Dentists valuable right hand and pioneer of our patients smile journeys! If you are an OHT with a passionate attitude who appreciates working collaboratively, believes in respectful communication and is in love with lifetime learning, you’ve found your practice!

This opportunity is Full-Time and will see you work at both A1 Dental Practices over your five-day week - Monday to Friday. Mondays are designated solely to orthodontic patients; the rest of the week is Hygiene and management of orthodontic emergencies as they arise.

The position involves assisting the Dentist with orthodontic procedures such as banding, bonding, appliance fitting, wire changing, debanding, Cerec scanning, clear aligner treatment, Dental Monitoring, virtual appointments, 3D printing. We are a high-tech practice providing the latest services to patients including digital scanning, Dental Monitoring, and lingual orthodontics.

What you will deliver

• You’ll have well-rounded Hygienist / OHT skills & exceptional clinical capability
• Efficiently deliver high quality treatment including fixed and removable orthodontic appliances, radiography and routine orthodontic care for adults and children
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records
• Enjoy working in a team environment, reporting, and liaising with the Dentist as required.
• Adhere to practice infection control protocols
• Adopt the practice treatment philosophy

• Be a qualified dental therapist and/or dental hygienist and/or oral health therapist with current AHPRA registration (no restrictions) and have the required formal orthodontic training
