Are you an experienced RN with Anaesthetic experience in a day surgery environment?Gold Coast Private Hospital Day Surgery Unit is growing and we are seeking registered nurses who love working in a busy and dynamic environment supported by a collaborative team .As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and effective anaesthetic care to patients undergoing a variety of day surgical procedures. Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 336 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialities include: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. As an experienced RN in anaesthetics, your role will include:

• Meeting and making patients at ease in DSU

• Assist with pre-operative assessments and preparations

• Collaborate with anaesthetist to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Ensure patient and staff safety

• Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health journey

• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

• Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• The ability to work well independently and within a team

• High level organisational skills to meet time constraints

• 12 months plus experience in anaesthetics

• Strong clinical skillset

• Demonstrate the ability to show initiative

• Excellent communication skills
