Northpark Private Hospital and LaTrobe Private Hospital are embarking on exciting new Expansion and Redevelopment Projects to be completed over two stages – End of 2023 and 2024. Work has commenced across both sites to ensure the growing demand for quality health care across Melbourne’s Northwest are met.

The Northpark Private Hospital Expansion Project includes:

· Expansion of our established Mental Health units by 22 beds, including a 10 bed Older Persons Unit

· Growth of support areas including group spaces, meeting rooms, interview spaces, a gymnasium and patient support areas

The LaTrobe Private Hospital Redevelopment Project includes:

  • Expanded clinical services including Orthopaedics
  • 4 new state of the art operating theatres with a focus on orthopaedics
  • New 4 bed high dependency unit
  • New day surgery admission area
  • New onsite pharmacy and cafe

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide high quality, evidence based care to inpatients predominantly across surgical wards including orthopedics as well as maternity and mental health
  • Display a patient centered approach in the delivery of Physiotherapy services
  • Possess and maintain excellent clinical skills in relation to assessment, treatment and discharge planning
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement activities
  • Provide supervision to students

To be successful in this role you should possess:

  • A Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Experience in the delivery of acute physiotherapy services
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant experience against the Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope – Victoria – Allied Health Professionals – Enterprise Agreement 2020-2022" (salaries for a Grade 2 Physiotherapist range between $42.19 and $50.76 per hour).
