About your New Role:

The Mater Allied Health team has an opening for a physiotherapists to work in the Orthopaedic and Cardiorespiratory team in a casual capacity.

  • Week day shifts

  • Weekends and evening also available

  • Hours of physiotherapy service are 7am – 7pm.

  • Varied shift length available: 3 hours - 10 hours.

  • Must commit to regular weekend work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day zero mobilisation of joint replacement patients

  • Day stay ACL patients

  • Acute orthopaedic caseload

  • Acute cardio-respiratory caseload

  • Liaison with medical and other allied health professionals

  • Developing and improving physiotherapy services

About You

  • Degree in Physiotherapy

  • Minimum 1 year experience in hospital setting

  • Current / eligible to apply for NSW Physiotherapy registration

  • Sound clinical knowledge and experience

  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

  • Excellent communication, time management, organisational & customer service skills

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Weekend availability
