The School of Health Sciences offers an extensive range of quality accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programs designed to engage students from learning opportunities in class through to professional workplace experience. Our Occupational Therapy program is distinctive for its teaching culture, delivery of quality contemporary education and its pastoral care mission. Our courses are delivered by experienced clinicians and academics ensuring materials and content are evidence based, contemporary and future focused.
POSITION
An academic sessional makes a substantial contribution to the teaching program, particularly at the undergraduate level. The position requires preparation and coordination of tutorials and workshops, consultation with students, assessment marking and attendance at meetings as required by the Course Coordinator/Program Coordinator. The primary purpose of an academic sessional is to successfully run and manage their assigned tutorials or workshops within the discipline area.
The School seeks expressions of interest from experienced Academics or Clinicians who have a passion for teaching. Teaching opportunities are available on a sessional basis in the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Program.
We are looking for academic sessional staff with subject matter expertise in one or more of the following occupational therapy practice areas:
