ABOUT THE ROLE:

Exciting opportunity to join our Environmental Services Department. We are seeking qualified, motivated Patient Services Assistants to join us. You will be an integral member of our team and provide patient-centric cleaning duties, food & beverage services, transportation of patients and patient support.

  • Permanent FT/PT and Casual positions Monday to Sunday.
  • Day shifts, afternoon shifts, and night shift positions.
  • Immediate start is available.
  • Located at Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg.
  • Busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Responsible for meeting Victorian Public Health cleaning and Food Safety standards.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have completed Certificate 3 in Health Services, or equivalent, or working towards achieving.
  • Current Food Handling Certificate (Desirable).
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand Patients' diet codes.
  • A commitment to policies and procedures in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and members of the public.
