Senior Sonographer

I-MED Northeastern Region is seeking an experienced, qualified Sonographer to fill the position of Ultrasound Site Supervisor at Boronia

As a senior sonographer you will work closely with the clinic teams, teaching teams and Ultrasound Coordinator to achieve a consistently high standard of patient care whilst achieving clinic productivity targets.

Duties will include:

  • Ensuring the provision of the highest quality of patient care possible.
  • Mentoring and coaching of less experienced staff and students
  • Developing and supporting effective working relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Monitor compliance with I-MED's Work Health &Safety policies.

Core Competencies:

  • Demonstrated ability to perform all ultrasound examinations within the designated time frames.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the I-MED Visions and Values.

What we're looking for:

  • Registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
  • Previous experience in sonography in a busy clinic and hospital environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
