How You’ll Make a Difference:We are now looking for a full-time Maternal Early Childhood Sustained Home-visiting (MECSH) Nurse based in Katherine, NT.
This role is crucial in delivering culturally appropriate support and health education to Aboriginal families as part of the Strong Beginnings for Strong Families (SB4SF) MECSH program. The successful applicant will be required to travel regularly, by car, to remote Aboriginal communities 4-7 hours from Katherine.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
To qualify, you will need to be eligible for registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner (AHP) . Prior experience in primary health care or a related field will also be considered essential.
While not essential, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
