The Occupational Therapy Department at Bathurst Hospital is a group of friendly, enthusiastic and innovative therapists and Allied Health Assistant who are welcoming and willing to foster growth and development in their colleagues.

Bathurst Health service provides allied health, ambulatory care, coronary care, emergency medicine (26,000 presentations a year), intensive care, general medicine, mental health drug & alcohol, obstetrics & gynaecology, oncology, paediatrics, pathology, radiology, rehabilitation and surgery services. The service also has active hospital in the home and primary community health services. The facility has a strong partnerships with several universities, providing student clinical placements, education and patient referral opportunities.

This position qualifies for a Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $5,000 under the  NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme. This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.
