Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Pediatric Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse in Pediatrics, you will provide specialized care to infants, children, and adolescents. Your role will involve assessing patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young patients.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients, including physical examinations and medical history reviews
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs and observe patient behavior to identify any changes or potential complications
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United Kingdom.
- Minimum of 1years of experience in paediatric nursing preferred
- In-depth knowledge of paediatric anatomy, physiology, and developmental stages
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations with empathy and professionalism
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient computer skills for accurate record keeping
Preferential:
-Experience of working within a Paediatric ICU, Paediatric Community setting or Both.
