What you’ll be doing in this role:

Working within a Full Time, Part Time or Casual role, you will demonstrate your skills as an experienced Scrub/Scout Nurse. Reporting into our Operating Suite, Nurse Unit Manager, you will work within a collaborative and supportive team environment of our highly skilled nursing team. We have a large perioperative team, who support 19 operating theatres and maintain the highest standards in patient-centred care.

What we are looking for:

  • Current AHPRA registration ideally with 2-3 years’ experience in as a scrub/scout Nurse
  • Demonstrated experience within Cardiac, Neuro or Ortho specialties
  • If Neuro or Ortho background, you must be willing to complete training and upskilling within Cardiac field
  • Flexibility to work across a range of shifts including morning, evenings, and nights
  • The ability to participate in the on call roster as needed
  • A team player that is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to use your initiative and critical problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
