Our client is a privately owned aged care home that has been providing care to their residents for over 50 years. The role
Aged Care Registered Nurse
As the Registered Nurse, you will provide excellent nursing support to the residents in your care when on shift. You will be primarily working nights and be the Registered Nurse on site.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the care plans of patients are accurate and reflect any changes required based on the patients changing condition
• Advocating for clients and their families
• Delivering excellent clinical assessment
• Effectively solving problems for clients and other direct care staff
• Adhering to all legislation that governs quality standards, professional clinical registration requirements and standards of practice, including mandatory reporting responsibilities

About you
To be successful in the role of Aged Care Registered Nurse, you will be patient, have a friendly yet professional manner and have previous experience within this role. You will also be available to work nights. All successful applicants will have to undertake a National Police Clearance check prior to starting.
In addition to the above, you will also possess:

• Current AHPRA registration
• A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to inspire trust and confidence
• Previous experience with Aged Care nursing
