The role  
As a Project Officer, your role centres on meticulously adhering to service quality standards and health and safety policies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe services and workplaces. You will contribute to policy development and implement specified children and young people mental health, alcohol, and other drug programs and projects, following Queensland Health project management methodologies. Additionally, you'll provide essential administrative support to key projects and governance committees, employing strategic skills to develop reports and discussion papers.

Your role extends to liaising with program participants, tailoring information for decision-making, and establishing working relationships with stakeholders, ensuring the efficient completion of project activities. By maintaining meticulous attention to detail and effectively coordinating project tasks, you'll play a crucial role in driving the successful implementation of initiatives within Queensland Health.

The successful person
Success in this position requires a track record of navigating project environments, completing diverse tasks within set deadlines, often in collaboration with team members or stakeholders with varying priorities. Additionally, demonstrated experience in teamwork to enhance project-related systems and processes, including governance and reporting, is essential.

Furthermore, the role necessitates the ability to effectively advise and collaborate with key stakeholders, fostering relationships, influencing understanding, and ensuring project success. Developed written and interpersonal communication skills are also critical for preparing documentation and cultivating relationships with stakeholders and team members.
