JOB PURPOSE

To provide the highest standard of individualised care to all patients in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team, acting as an advocate for the care and support for all patients throughout the outpatient department.

To ensure the outpatient environment is welcoming to all patients, visitors and staff using the facilities. Educate patients and their families or carers, assessing their care needs and liaising with other departments within the Trust to facilitate the patients individual treatment pathway.

To carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision to the highest evidence-based standard and to initiate the first stage of a POA assessment.

To act as the departments team leader supervising Clinic Support Workers, Student Nurses & newly qualified Staff nurses.

Requirements:

- NMC Registered Nurse

- Post graduate qualificationORrelevant experience

- Clinical Experience in variety of OPD setting


Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £17,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 21 per week
