A team of 2 Vets and 5 Vet Nurses, we've created a positive and balanced family friendly environment - we all get on really well and strive for a supportive and motivating workplace culture! We are all open to learn and willing to teach - and there's always a laugh to be had!

About your new role:

• Initial 3-month Contract to help cover upcoming Long-Service Leave, with possible progression into a permanent role
• Initial Casual hours -min. 2 days a week/16 hours
• Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
• Performing minor procedures when required
• Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment

About your skills and your experience:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with min. 2+ years of experience
• Strong knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
• Driven with the ability to work with initiative, as part of a team and independently
• A calm and friendly presence
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of RX Works andSmartflow ideal but not essential
