The purpose of the position is to work for the QJA, liaising with the National Jockey WHS Officer and the Racing Queensland WHS Manager to assist with the identification of key risks to health & safety for Jockeys, Apprentice Jockeys, visiting Jockeys and visiting Apprentice Jockeys (Jockeys) and to undertake appropriate training, procedure development and education to reduce or where possible, eliminate the risk of harm to Jockeys.
