We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team across Somerset. This vital role involves providing high-quality medical care in various Minor Injuries Units throughout the region. With shifts available seven days a week, this position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact on community health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage minor injuries and illnesses independently.- Perform minor surgical procedures and provide follow-up care as necessary.- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with NMC guidelines.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care.- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.- Participate in continuous professional development and maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.- Proven experience as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner or in a similar role.- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on patient-centered care.
