What You Will Be Doing
• Leading, inspiring and mentoring the Occupational Therapy team, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning and growth.
• Providing expert clinical guidance and supervision for the inpatient Occupational Therapy service, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care that meets their individual needs and goals.
• Managing a diverse and challenging clinical caseload, applying your extensive experience and knowledge in the inpatient subacute/acute setting.
• Contributing to the operational and strategic planning of the Occupational Therapy service, aligning it with the vision and values of the hospital and the wider health system.
• Applications for 32 hours per week considered.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (through AHPRA) or eligibility for AHPRA registration.
• Significant experience as an Occupational Therapist in the inpatient acute setting, with a sound understanding of inpatient and aged care issues and processes.
• Demonstrated understanding of operational management in an inpatient setting
• Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership and supervision of inpatient Occupational Therapy staff and students, promoting professional competence and fostering individual development.
