Position Profile: As a Clinical Nurse Specialist –Perioperative Services , you will be responsiblefor the delivery of advanced and complex patient care. You willprovide a consultation service within this area of expertise andwill work collaboratively to improve the quality of patient careand promote desired outcomes in the patient population, whichincludes patients with complex needs within the inpatient andambulatory care setting . About theDepartment/Service /Directorate: The Operating Theatres Complex at PerthChildren's Hospital provides a safe and technologically advancedenvironment for surgery. Here's what you canexpect:

  • MultipleTheatres:  Our 12 operating theatres are equippedfor both elective (planned) and emergency surgeries, as well asspecialized procedures.
  • Seamless Care: The Operating Theatre Complex and PACU aredirectly connected to other critical care units, PaediatricCritical Care (PCC) and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit(NICU), as well as the Surgical Admissions ward and SurgicalShort Stay Unit.
