Based at our beautiful Charles Brownlow Retirement Village in Highton, you will use the latest technology - including our own purpose-built care app - and all your nursing and people skills to:

  • Ensure compassionate and excellent quality care is provided to all residents 
  • Coordinate, motivate and develop your team
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation
  • Provide support to your Clinical Manager

We have a full-time role available as the Nurse Unit Manager within our 40 bed High Care unit. This role works across Tuesday to Saturday0800 - 1600 (however we are flexible on the weekend day should Sunday fit your lifestyle better!)

About you

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have: 

  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in-charge or within a previous nursing leadership role. Given the specialist knowledge required to manage this unit, High Care experience is a must!
  • The ability to lead, share knowledge and motivate your team
  • Knowledge on dementia specific behaviours or high care practices and ability to manage differing care needs effectively
  • Have sound understanding of the Aged Care Standards
  • Kindness, compassion and drive to deliver first class care to our residents
