About the role

An opportunity exists in Acute Specialist Clinics at Blackburn Public Surgical Centre for a passionate and enthusiastic Nurse Manager. Acute Specialist Clinics at Blackburn is newly opened and will be meeting the needs of patients from the community by providing a range of surgical services, these including new and post-operative surgical patients. 

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • A compassionate and respectful leader
  • Looking for a senior clinical role with leadership responsibilities, strong commitment to providing high quality, patient and family centred care and risk minimisation
  • Significant experience in senior leadership and managerial role and demonstrated ability to effectively lead change
  • Excellent communication skills, time management and ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and multidisciplinary team. 
  • Current Nursing registration with AHPRA 
  • Post Graduate qualifications in management or clinical Field (Desired)
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
