The standard caseload will be made up of Orthopedic, Cardiac, Neurology, Pulmonary, and General reconditioning in both inpatients and outpatient settings.
We are a 48-bed Rehabilitation and Surgical Hospital in Guildford. The hospital forms part of a larger 12 Hospital Group offering specialized rehab services for inpatients and outpatients.
· We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Occupational Therapist who has recent clinical experience to work independently within our Inpatient and Outpatient programs.

Key responsibilities:
· To provide timely and high-standard occupational therapy services to the client to maximize function and performance of activities of daily living.
· To deliver patient-centered and goal-focused outcomes in an efficient and safe working environment.
· To work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
· Balance resources and high-volume workload to meet consumer, carer, and family needs to achieve positive outcomes.
· Conduct individual and group therapy programs.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Degree in Occupational Therapy along with current registration with AHPRA
· Significant and recent clinical experience working in a hospital setting, providing specialist occupational therapy intervention in persons with chronic and complex health needs.
· Advanced reasoning skills and ability to operate independently with minimum direct clinical supervision.
· Experience and understanding of health and aged care-related community services.
· High level of interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
· Sound clinical reasoning and confidence with the recommendation of therapy, equipment, and home modifications
· Current unrestricted driver's license
