Rural Banking Graduate

As a bank dedicated to agriculture, our regional and rural branches help support the innovative farmers and agribusinesses who put food on our tables every day.

Our Rural Banking Graduate Stream offers you the opportunity to work across different regional or rural branches, gaining valuable skills and knowledge that will help add value to our clients, build meaningful relationships and help support our farmersto grow more with less.

No two days are ever the same, you will be guided by the experts in the field on how to maintain and grow client portfolio, conduct credit review, undertake financial analysis, and bring your innovative ideas on ways to add value to our clients.

To develop a well-rounded knowledge of the bank, you will also be placed on a short-term rotation within Risk and Compliance. Selected Graduates will also be placed on a short-term international rotation to connect with colleagues in our global head office in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

About You

  • Final year undergraduate or postgraduate student, or have recently graduated within the last three years.
  • Available to start full time employment from February 2025.
  • Flexible to relocate across different regional or rural locations in Australia (accommodation allowance may apply)
  • Australia or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and interest in your chosen field.
  • Passion for the food and agribusiness industry would be advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with ability to plan and organise self.
  • Excellent time management and ability to multitask and prioritise work.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication at all levels both written and verbal.
