  • Passionate and experienced about supporting community-based clients with neurological conditions to achieve their functional goalsin a community and outpatient setting.
  • Able to work as an interdisciplinary team member to promote positive outcomes for our clients.
  • An Exercise Physiologist experienced working with people with a disability or in a rehabilitation setting.

  • A degree in Exercise Physiologyand accreditation with Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
  • Ability to work independently as a sole clinician and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Previous experience working within a rehabilitation and/or disability environment et desirable.
  • Previous experience working with neurological disorders including stroke and Parkinson’s Disease desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong commitment and professionalism to customer centred care.
  • Experience building long lasting patient relationships.
  • Highly motivated and a positive attitude.
About the role.. LifeWorks at Royal Rehab Ryde is an innovative multi-disciplinary service that is growing! LifeWorks Ryde supports clients by providing therapy services onsite and in the community. The Ryde campus has a state-of-the-art advanced technology centre in which the team provides innovative therapy using robotic technology.Some of the exciting opportunities for our Exercise Physiologists include:
  • Progressing clients from outpatient setting to supporting functional tasks in their own home .
  • Encouraging interdisciplinary teamwork to promote outcomes in the best interests of the client.
  • Providing evidence based therapy utilizing advanced technology to add in the achievement of functional client goals.
  • Promoting person-centred goals.
  • Participating in research and quality activities within Royal Rehab - LifeWorks.
