The Role
The Hospital is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist in Nephrology to complete a 12 month appointment as a fulltime Staff Specialist (possibility to extend).

This roles includes a variety of General Medicine duties but is not exclusive to the assessment and management of  disorders such as:
o    glomerular, tubulointerstitial, and renovascular disease
o    urinary tract infection and renal calculi
o    hypertension
o    hypertensive and renal disorders in pregnancy
o    fluid, electrolyte and acid base disorders
o    acute kidney injury
o    chronic kidney disease including end stage kidney disease and its systemic effects, including bone and mineral disorders
o    Renal supportive care and dialysis

The Hospital
A spacious and modern, well-equipped regional referral facility providing a comprehensive range of services including; acute medical and surgical, obstetrics, paediatrics and a range of diagnostic and allied health services.
 
The hospital has a busy Emergency Department with approximately 18,000 presentations per year and has dedicated areas for resuscitation, acute presentations, ambulant and fast track presentations, paediatrics, dedicated metal health assessment and procedure room.
