The Hospital:
This is Australia's second oldest hospital opening in 1804, and is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The hospital provides acute, sub acute, mental health and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds.

The Role:

The General Paediatric Advanced Training program offers accredited positions, as well as rural accredited locations.  Positions are accredited for both core General Paediatrics and rural General Paediatrics with a perinatal component. 
Accredited sub-speciality advanced training positions are available in Community Child Health, Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine and Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine.
Provide after-hours emergency as determined by the relevant work unit
Multiple Fixed term, full time, day work, positions, commencing from February 2025 until February 2026.

The Requirements:
You must have a minimum of 3 months Paediatric experience at registrar level and hold registration with AHPRA.
