The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Senior Superintendent Representative to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Being aware of the contractual obligations of the parties in construction contracts and applying those obligations honestly and fairly
  • Providing expert advice and information to assist Project Managers in undertaking and administering dispute resolution processes in respect to building and engineering construction
  • Implementing contract administration policies and procedures applicable to traditional contracts
  • Acting in accordance with Queensland Health procedures and systems in respect to contract administration and contractual provisions
  • Implementing post contract performance evaluation systems and procedures

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • Whilst not mandatory, a tertiary degree in a relevant field or a relevant qualification in construction, contract or project management would be well regarded
  • Drivers Licence
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

  • Temporary full time (up to twelve months, with possibility of extension)
  • Base salary ranging from $117 824 - $126 212 per annum
