Full job description

We are seeking an empathetic and experienced person to join our Psychedelic Medicine Integration Team. Your primary role would be to facilitate group sessions for individuals who have undergone psychedelic experiences, providing a supportive and therapeutic environment for them to process and integrate their insights and learnings into their everyday lives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Organise group integration sessions for individuals who have had psychedelic experiences, creating a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space for sharing and reflection.
  • Guide participants through the process of helping each other integrate their psychedelic experiences, helping them to understand and apply the insights gained to their personal growth and life challenges.
  • Employ various techniques and modalities to support participants integration process (full training will be provided).
  • Provide education on harm reduction and wellness practices related to psychedelic use.
  • Collaborate with mental health professionals, to sign post vulnerable individuals.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the field of psychedelic therapy and integration.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the practice of psychedelic integration therapy.

Preferable Qualifications :

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create a warm and empathetic therapeutic environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in the field.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Personal experience with psychedelics and an understanding of their transformative potential.
  • Familiarity with transpersonal psychology, non-ordinary states of consciousness, and spiritual growth.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.

Location :

  • The position will take place at temporarily rented locations such as town halls or wellness centres, with potential opportunities for remote work or teletherapy.
