Aspen Corporate Health are seeking a dedicated and skilled Casual Skin Screening Nurse to join our team in West Perth! As a Skin Screening Nurse, you will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing patients for potential skin issues, including abnormalities and early signs of skin cancer. Your primary responsibility will be conducting thorough skin examinations, educating patients on skin health, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed skin examinations on patients to identify abnormalities and potential signs of skin cancer.
• Educate patients on skin cancer prevention, early detection and sun protection methods
• Document findings accurately in patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Assist in scheduling follow-up appointments and coordinating further diagnostics procedures as necessary.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements and best practice in dermatological care.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or Membership of Professional Organisation or Appropriate Registry Body
• Experience in conducting skin cancer screenings or dermatological procedures.
• Experience and qualifications in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine (must provide certificate)
• Minimum 1 year full-time relevant clinical experience in a multidisciplinary setting.
