FT Registered Nurse - Anaesthetics & Recovery (PACU)

Are you an experienced RN with Anaesthetic & PACU experience, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care?
We are currently expanding our team and are looking for RNs who want to join our collaborative Anaesthetic & PACU team on a full-time basis.
As an experienced RN in Anaesthetics/PACU, your role will include:
Deliver evidence-based care
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
Ensure patient and staff safety
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health journey
Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
Led successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice

About You
Current AHPRA registration
2 years’ RN experience in Anaesthetics/PACU Nursing with experience in one of the following specialties: Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Urology, OR ENT surgery
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
The ability to work well independently and within a team
High level organisational skills to meet time constraints
Strong clinical skillset
Demonstrate the ability to show initiative Excellent communication skills
