About the role
There is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join our Occupational Therapy (OT) Team, within the Community Rehabilitation Program at Yarra Ranges Health. The Community Rehabilitation Team is a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, providing allied health services to clients in their own home and also in the therapy centre.
This fixed term position will suit an Occupational Therapist who has a passion for rehabilitation and helping adults to achieve their rehabilitation goals, can work autonomously and also as a team member. Opportunities exists in various areas such as neurological rehabilitation (including stroke rehab), musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Falls and Balance clinic, Amputee clinic, Movement Disorder Program and Early Stroke Discharge (ESD).
The successful applicant will be supported within a strong supervision structure and will be encouraged to engage in professional development and ongoing evidence based therapy. There will be opportunities for quality and research skill development in-house, from our Organisational Development, Quality Planning and Innovation team and the Allied Health Clinical Research Unit.
