Position Highlights:

• Position: Device Clinic Nurse Specialist – Medical Group Cardiology
• Sign On Bonus: $2,500 Sign-On Bonus, or $5,000 Bonus for minimum of 1 year of device clinic experience
• Location: Primarily Skokie Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
• Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
• Required Travel: Must be willing to travel between sites (may include Evanston, Glenbrook, Bannockburn, and Swedish Hospital)
   
  What you will need:
• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of Illinois required
• Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
• Experience:  3 years of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required; Cardiology experience required; Cardiac device clinic experience preferred

• What you will do:
• Function as a subject expert and/or program coordinator in providing nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults
• Handle management and coordination of care of patients with Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED), pacemakers, ICD, and Implantable Loop Recorders.
• Provide nursing assessment to patient condition and evaluation of follow-up needs
• Provide health education for patient and family
• Collaborate on planning/problem-solving solutions with health team members
• Clinical management of patients as directed by the physician
