Job Opportunity:
Our client seeks an experienced consultant to take on the role of Clinical Director in leading the Emergency Department. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with extensive experience in Emergency Medicine, capable of providing exceptional strategic leadership and guidance. The position entails optimizing resource utilization, integrating services within the hospital, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery in alignment with hospital policies, service standards, and financial targets.
This is a full-time, fixed-term contract spanning 3 years, requiring 76 hours per fortnight. The total package is generous, inclusive of ongoing annual allowances, as well as initial accommodation and relocation support.

Hospital Details:
Serving a population of approximately 116,000, our hospital operates across two major sites located approximately 50 kilometers apart. The Emergency Departments (ED) collectively handle an estimated 30,000 patient visits annually, catering to a diverse patient population. One site functions as the regional trauma center, with a 25% admission rate, while the other serves as a sub-acute hospital with a 15% admission rate.
The ED holds accreditation from the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine for 24 months of training, with an application for year 4 training currently under review.

Requirements:
